How do I pay for Classes?
Fees are based on four (4) week terms. We have a total of 10 terms that run from September through June. Payments are requested during the first week of each term, otherwise are subject to a late fee. We charge a non-refundable $30 Registration Fee per family per year.
Family plan:
Each additional child per family will receive a discount of $20 per term payment.
What should my Child wear for class?
Girl's Gymnastics: leotard, no jewelry, optional sport socks
Boy's Gymnastics: t-shirt, shorts, no jewelry, optional sport socks
Dance: black leotard, pink tights, optional leg warmers
Required: pink ballet slippers and black tap shoes
What are your 2024-25 Term Dates?
Term 1: September 9 through October 6
Term 2: October 7 through November 3
Term 3: November 4 through December 1
Term 4: December 2 through January 5*
Term 5: January 6 through February 2
Term 6: February 3 through March 2
Term 7: March 3 through March 30
Term 8: March 31 through April 27
Term 9: April 28 through May 25
Term 10: May 26 through June 22
*Please note: Joan's Olympic Gym will be closed Sun. Dec 22th through Sun. Dec 29th. We have included an extra week (for a total of 5 weeks) into term 4 to compensate for the week we are closed.
Are your Teachers qualified?
All of our Teachers are fully qualified and personally trained by our director, Joan Sullivan McDonough. All coaches are CPR and first aid certified.
Can Parents watch?
We are currently asking that parents refrain from watching classes due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We have implemented a "kiss and go" policy to encourage parents to drop off and pick up students with a staff member at the door. Exceptions may be made in special circumstances, please call the office for more information.
What Holidays are you closed?
Columbus Day: October 14th 2024
Thanksgiving Day: November 28, 2024
Christmas week: December 22 - December 29, 2024
New Year's Day: January 1, 2025 (morning, open for afternoon classes!)
President's Day: February 17, 2025
Memorial Day: May 26, 2025
What if my Child misses a class?
We allow one make-up class during the same term as a child misses a class. Please contact the office to make arrangements for a make-up. We do not offer refunds for missed classes.
What about inclement weather?
If the Gym is closed due to inclement weather, we will post on the front page of this website, Facebook, and Instagram. You may also call the office for more information. We will offer one make-up class during the same term if we cancel due to extreme weather.
